On September 17, actor Jimmy Jean-Louis took to the
stage on behalf of PUMA.Peace at the Peace One Day concert
in Paris to talk about the One Day One Goal campaign.
PUMA.Peace is the sole supporter of the Peace One Day,
One Day One Goal campaign to encourages football matches
around the world on September 21st the international
day of cease fire known as Peace Day.
The goal of ODOG is to harness the power of the beautiful
game to encourage peace and cooperation. Sport has the
ability to cut across all geographic, ethnicities and
politics and enable greater understanding and respect.
Many of these football matches strengthen and support
peace building efforts in regions previously in conflict.
Jimmy Jean-Louis was proud to announce that over 3,000
soccer matches were held in honor of this year’s Peace
Day, with games in all 192 UN member states.
A game that was of special importance to Jimmy Jean-Louis
was the match played in his native Haiti. His excitement
was contagious and the crowd clammered for the soccer
balls he threw into the crowd to support ODOG.

aid organization based in Los Angeles that that is lead
